Spencer Township Regular Board Meetings are held on the third Tuesday of every month at 5:30 pm in the township hall basement at 14960 Meddler Ave, please park around back and enter in from the basement doors
Agenda is a document that outlines the topics to be discussed and decisions made during a township board meeting. It is not a requirement under the Open Meetings Act (OMA). We do offer a printed agenda for regular board meetings within an hour of the meeting, this agenda is not available online. All special meeting agendas are available at the time they are posted as required by OMA.
An agenda for a meeting is only retained until approval of the minutes of the meeting to which the agenda refers, then it is destroyed per State of Michigan, Records Management, General Schedule #25.
You may request a minutes not posted on this website to be sent via email for free by sending email to clerk@spencertwpmi.gov, you must specify date. If you want printed copies of any minutes, you may request by email but must pick up in person to pay fee.
Minutes are created after a meeting, are official public records detailing proceedings of township board meetings, including decisions, votes, and attendees, as required by the Open Meetings Act.
Planning and Zoning Commission meetings are the FIRST Wednesday of the months of February, May, August and November at 7:00 pm in the township hall basement at 14960 Meddler Ave, please park around back and enter in from the basement doors.
